Since moving toddlers sleep has regressed.

Since moving my little one’s sleep seems to have regressed.

Prior to moving she still slept in our bedroom (due to the lack of space) but has always slept in her cot bed. From around 10 months she has slept through the night. My little one has always had a consistent bedtime routine and is happy to self soothe and fall asleep independently.

We have recently moved into a bigger apartment where she now has her own room and I’m not sure whether this is the reason she now isn’t sleeping great? Little one is waking around 2am and seems inconsolable. We haven’t had any other choice other than to bring her into our room and bed, as she is so upset and unsettled. Little one also won’t let her dad comfort her, only me and will only fall back to sleep if she is physically touching me. Has anyone else experienced this? whenever she is in our bed I’m unable to sleep, as Ive read too many heartbreaking stories about co sleeping etc. We are living on the ground floor so have neighbours above us, so I feel leaving her to self soothe (especially when she’s screaming/crying how she has been) it isnt fair to the other neighbours.

Im just really stuck on how I can correct this? We have never co slept and it’s not something I want to start doing, especially as she is a year and a half.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can potentially fix this? I’m in desperate need of sleep.
