Moving - Emsworth or Winchester villages

Hi - I'm a Mum of a 4 & 2 year old and we are planning to move from London to give our children a more outdoorsy life. We love doing anything on the water, swimming/paddleboarding/sailing etc so we're thinking of moving to Emsworth (near Chichester) but it doesn't look like there is so much for families to do there. I think me and my husband would love it but we want to make sure the move is right for the kids. We are an active family, so happy to organise things but want the kids to have friends/clubs/activities to go to as well. So we were wondering if villages near Winchester would be better, as there seems to be more to do for families, the secondary schools are good and the sea is only 45mins away.....but we were really hoping to live by the sea. Any thoughts from families who live in these areas, as we're feeling a bit lost. It's not helped by living in a 'nappy valley' area of London where there is sooooo much for kids to do. Thanks.
