Autism diagnosis appointment

I found out a week ago that my daughters mdt meeting is going on this week or next. And today I received a letter that said
"a review appointment has been made for you" it also said that due to the sensitive nature of the conversation I may wish not to bring my child, and may wish to bring a support person along. Does this sound like a diagnosis appointment?

shes two years into her autism assessments and I was told it would take about 2 years

Has she had her ados/assessment?

She's had multiple different assessments over the past two years, they said all evidence they need has been gathered, and they were ready to take it to a multidisciplany meeting now

I would expect so OP. As I'm sure you know the purpose of the MDT is for the various professionals to compare notes and agree whether the diagnostic criteria are met. Once the MDT has taken place it'll almost certainly be a diagnostic appointment. I think if the evidence was really inconsistent and unclear you would know by now.
