I'm going to a wedding overseas in September, my little girl will be 4.5 and she will be half way through her first month of school.
She's very close to my parents, as while I work they've had her since she was 7 months old. So she is going to stay with them for two nights why I essentially fly out late, go to the wedding and fly home early.
I'm a bridesmaid and my husband is a groomsman so we don't have a choice.
My daughter is invited but I don't want to disrupt her schooling.
I'm just nervous about flying anyway, so leaving my daughter in another country terrifies me, even though she probably won't care and will have the best time with my parents.
Ugh. Has anyone else felt this or gone abroad without their children before?
