1 yo won't eat much :(

Hi everyone. My 1 yo has become a really fussy eater, he loves weetabix, yogurts & bananas but pushes nearly everything else away or throws on the floor. I try and offer him a real range of flavours and textures but he won't even try a lot of things. I am doing my best to keep meal times calm and happy but it's making me so anxious! Does anyone have any advice or tips? Thanks so much.

What do you do when he refuses a food @calorcalorcalor? The best thing to do usually is to assume they're just not hungry and move on.

I offer something else (which I'm not sure is the right thing to do) and he normally refuses this too... but I'm so worried about him going hungry especially before bed time!

I wouldn't give an alternative no. If you're worried about him being hungry at night could he have a small bowl of weetabix and some banana before bed?

How much milk is he having in the day now he's one? If it's over 300 ml that's probably impacting his willingness to eat Wink

He's one.

He may be like this for years.

Don't force feed. It's counter productive.

He will eat eventually. At one it's normal.
