My 1 year old seems to be on a 9-9, always upstairs by 7pm but it takes her so long to go to sleep/she fights it until late, I don't wake her as you say it just upsets her so having to go with it until hopefully she naturally goes down earlier. Some days I will have to wake her as I'll be at work soon

He's the same he fights till the very last minute and then eventually falls asleep so exhausting sometimes🤦‍♀️ might just have to accept he's a later bed guy now and hopefully it will sort its self out eventually x

The advice I was given was to adjust it very slightly.

So waking him up at 8am suddenly howling he'll go back to 8pm bedtime doesn't work.

Wake him at 9.45am and keep doing this until he starts to fall asleep at 9.45. Then wake up at 9.30 until he goes to sleep earlier and so on!

I think if you're working and need them up earlier you have to go with this to prevent a massive fall out the day it has to be done and everyone is stressed!
