How much money should I save aside for driving lessons/tests etc?

I think we spent £1800 on lessons for dc1 and then £1350 for dc2 the following year - dc1 only ended up having lessons for longer as she was waiting and waiting for a test (2022 and still a big backlog), dc2 got lucky cancellation. Then theory tests plus practical… cant really remember but say an extra £100?
They had double lessons and we knew the instructor, I think we paid £450 for a block of 10 lessons which was 5 weeks worth.
They also had a car so practised quite a lot with us.

I have spent a fortune as it's dragged on for so lone with repeated fails and long, long waits between tests. Well over £2k now.
