My school has recommended I contact ours. We are really struggling with our 6 year olds behaviour.
As the behaviour is mainly happening in the home (mainly around emotional regulation), school don't seem to have any way of supporting us/ him.
I'm finding it really hard at the moment. Just sitting here in tears, and tired! I'm worried that referral to this person means they think it is our parenting that is the problem, for one thing. For another, I'm worried that if I contact them it is logged in some way that we have had this support. This might sound silly, but think I just can't see the wood for the trees at the moment.
Has anyone had good support from this service?
