I've never forgotten a parent's evening or anything like this to do with my kids before. My youngest child has been sick today so I completely forgot as I was so focused on him. Any teachers out there who can tell me how terrible/not terrible this is? 😫 I will apologise to the teacher at drop off tomorrow morning 🫣

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Try not to be so hard on yourself OP! These things happen, drop the School an email in the Morning and I'm sure they can schedule you in for a chat another time Smile

If he is 5 I would not worry - just say apologies he was not well enough to leave.
If he's 15 and doing GCSE's then that's not great.
Given you are dropping off I'm assuming it's the former - say sorry and worry not.

My child is 5, so not secondary school. I just feel so terrible 😣. Thanks for the replies, I'll apologise tomorrow

It isnt an issue. Happens all the time.

just dont be the arsehole who doesnt attend parents eve and then demands a phone call or written report from the teachers instead.
