Separation anxiety?

For the last month or so my 10 month old has started to cry when I put her down in her cot at night. We always settle her in the rocking chair to begin with and then put her down when she's drowsy/asleep. DH can still do this with no issues, however when I do this she will begin to cry a lot once I leave the room. I wondered if it could be separation anxiety, but then why does it only happen with me and not DH?

My little one was the same, she had major separation anxiety for me and not my dh. This then extended to me leaving the room for a min to pop into the kitchen - she would scream the place down, even if she was being held by dh.
Theres lots of great separation anxiety advice online. I started to say to my little one where I was going and when I would be back. I found trying to sneak out of the room made it much worse.
It was a phase and she did grow out of it but it’s a really hard phase for you as your heart breaks for them but you also need your space.

Thanks for your reply. It's strange cos she's not like it any other time except for bed time. I can leave her with family, walk out the room, put her down for naps all with no problems at all. But for some reason night time is when she decides to start!
