Bump on toddlers head

My 1 year old banged his head pretty hard 5 weeks ago, it swelled to an egg instantly. Took him the hospital and got checked over everything fine. The egg went down on days but he still has a little lump like 1cm in size that hasn’t gone. I plan on taking him to the gp about this next week but just wondering if anyone has had similar

He was fine, dr said it is normal. It’s over a year later now and you can still see were he bumped it xx
