Gift ideas for 6yo boy

The birthday of a 6 year old boy in our family is coming up, and we’d like to buy them a gift but I am not sure what is a good gift for this age (I have a much younger baby so I don’t really know what a 6yo would like).

Any ideas? Our budget is around £150.

Thank you!

If you’ll be spending £150 (!?!) then I think you’re best to ask the child’s parents for recommendations. You can get some amazing Lego sets for that which many 6 year olds will love, but not all are into it. So definitely worth asking for pointers.

£150 and you don't know what the child likes sounds bonkers!!

I would ask the parents for suggestions or just bung some money in card so they can go to a toy shop and pick something themselves.

I would also massively reduce the budget because it's just not necessary to spend so much on any child let alone one you don't sound that close to.

£150 is a huge amount! If you want to spend that much definitely check with the parents first.

I was going to suggest something like this: https://www.thetoyshop.com/pocket-money/blind-bags/Robo-Alive-Mega-Dino-Fossil-Find-by-ZURU-%28Styles-Vary%29/p/563539?queryId=efca024e7765d221fcb62041fe1beec9

I actually bought this for Dd for her birthday and it went down a storm. They love all the digging and slime (parents less so, but it is fun!)
