Motherease Bedwetter causing discomfort - what now?

Hi,

My DS 4.3 is currently in Motherease Bedwetter at night. I have found 2 problems with these:

He is always sodden in the morning, and the majority of mornings I have to change his sheets as they have leasked.

Secondly, the joins of material on the inside of the nappy are very sharp; and dig into his hips leaving permament marks.

I need to change to something else. Have tried Tots Bots (largest size) and Motherease Sandys XL.
But I have to boost them up so much, that they end up sliding off his hips in the night.

He has a big belly, and small bum, so find it quite difficult to keep his nappy's up, without them rolling down.

Any ideas? Am reluctant to use disposables, as these leaked when we were on holiday anyway.

Would it be worth going down the traditional terry towelling nappy, tied in some ingeniuos way?

Thanks in advance
Jenny

how about putting the sandys on then putting the booster between the wrap and the outer. my ds1 was a very heavy wetter and at night i would place a prefold in his sandy toddlerease nappy and i would lay one into an xl rikki wrap prefold style for a boy gave him a very large bum but stayed in place and kept everything dry.

what about boosting with a microfiber cloth (89p in asda)

they are very slim and very absorbant!

Thankyou both for your input.

Am going to try again with the sandy's tonight, but boosted on the outside of the nappy.

I put him in a disposable last night; and he said he was horrible any sweaty.

Will also try with a microfibre cloth.
