Dummy advice

Currently introducing a dummy to little one who is 7 weeks old ( no judgement please ) and we have gone between all brand first taking mam and then refusing so taking nuk and now going back to the mam ones 🤦🏻‍♀️. I only have 1 free mam one and was going to buy some more if he decided to take them but I’ve seen that the Fred and flo ones look very similar. Has anyone used these instead or found there was not much difference between mam and Fred and flo. Already spent loads on Nuk ones for him to now refuse them but only take the mam one.

Are you bottle feeding? I found using the same brand for dummy as bottle helped with acceptance! (tommy tippee for us)

im breastfeeding , originally said no to a dummy but in the early stage he was using me as a comfort so much that I decided to introduce it or almost ended breastfeeding.

Yeah my oldest was super fussy about his dodies. He'd only take Tommee Tippee ones. My youngest refused them point blank. I'd say if you've found one he likes, be prepared to have to stick with it. Having said that, there's no harm in trying a cheap one on the offchance that it works out. It's going to cost less in the long run than only buying the branded ones and never knowing.

We were breastfeeding too so we didn't have a bottle to match him with either.
