Hi just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a single mum to a 6yr old boy and studying full-time for a degree in Primary Education. I've nearly finished my first year now and very often the only thing that keeps me going (especially when I'm sat in front of my computer at 2 or 3 in the morning) is "Another 2 years - 6 WEEKS PAID SUMMER HOLIDAYS"

Hello!

gemmiegoatlegs · 20/03/2008 22:09

hey, how about the long uni holidays? Surely something to look forward to - i have 2 dcs and am really looking forward to the summer stretching out before us and spending loads of time together. We couldn't do that if i was still working full time! I am nearly finished my second year now and its amazing how time flies!

nice to meet you

Hi Lois, I've just finished the 2nd year of my English degree, then hoping to do teacher training for Secondary school children. Keep plodding, you're future is in the making
