Hi
LO has got to the point where she is bored of sandwiches!

Just after some lunch ideas other than sandwiches that you do

She isn't keen on pizza pinwheels

Will need to be something that is prepped the night before.

Things that can be eaten cold or reheated.

I do put some left over dinner in but want ideas for things that aren't left overs 😁

At that age I fed my son a lot of cottage cheese with toppings.

Toppings like diced ham, olives, crushed tortilla chips, seasonings etc.

My main goal was to get protein in him and this worked well.

Wraps, quiche, pasta salads, savoury muffins, home made soup

Do you have Instagram? There are loads of accounts on there I get ideas from a lot

My DSD has a little flask she takes soup or pasta in for school.

Beans/eggs on toast with chopped veg on the side
Tuna/beans and cheese on a mini jacket potato

Frittata has been our go to!

I find veggie fritters go down well, and it’s a good way to use up left over veg!

idontlikealdi · 31/01/2024 21:28

Quiche, frittata, flourless muffins

3yo DS loves:

  • snacky lunch - some combination of hard boiled egg, crackers & cheese, veg sticks, houmous, pitta etc
  • soup is always a big hit
  • cold tuna & sweetcorn pasta
  • cold pesto pasta

My 2 year old and 3 year old love chicken wings or drumsticks and will eat them
