I kind of feel like things should be BAU. I wanted a lazy day but I can’t stand certain housework not being done my way (not to discredit DH’s effort) I’ve planned to go on a walk tomorrow etc then my son is off nursery so I will be spending time with him too and I don’t like sitting in so we’ll be going out

did you feel a bit like this 2nd time? Like you don’t need to sit in that you should be up and out?

I’ve had guilt for having a bit of a lazy day up until now

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I barely got out of bed a week post c section never mind house work walks out. You got plenty of time to be up and about simply chill. If you want to feel “ normal” do an activity with your child that’s older but pushing it physically will or could set you back longer long term
