Are Cotton Bottoms wraps Bummis Super Whispers?

Yes, they now trade under Bummis.

I'm not sure they are I had Bummis in stock whilst Cotton Bottoms were still being sold so think they are a different brand, Cotton Bottoms were by Tommy Tippi (sp?) and Bummis are an American Company, distributed in the UK by Tots Bots. The Bummis wraps are very good in any case

Just found a few links that indicate they are the same company now so maybe Bummis have bought the name out.

I bought it but I think it's a Bummis original, not the super whisper. Oh well...

Bummis have been making wraps since the year dot. Cotton Bottoms were a UK nappy laundry company. They got Bummis to make their wraps for the UK market with CB labels and sell them as Cotton bottom wraps, they packaged them with prefolds and sold them through the shops etc. Then Tommee Tippee bought the brand, and more recently decided to stop selling washable nappies (I presume it conflicts with the Sangenic nappy wrapper brand they also bought).
Subsequently Bummis have entered an arrangemment with Tots Bots who now diistribute Bummis in the UK.

Bummis produce several wraps, the original, the Super Whipser Wrap (and the Whisper pull on pant, the Polar Fleece and the Bummis Cotton Wrap (many pretty designs) which may also be used as a swim pant.
Not all their wrap types are available in the UK though

Thanks for that clarification....though I was going mad but couldn't find the naswer anywhere! I think the nicest of the Bummis prints are not available in the UK, a shame as they are far superior to the Tots Wrap IMO

I know, I found a flowery print Bummis wrap with a US ebay seller. It was going to cost $21 to ship!

Bummis Super Whispers are fantastic. I know because Nappy Ever After's customers have been enjoying them for the last 5 years. NEA is now the UK distributor of Bummis stocking SWs and the new Super Brite. Sorry for the self-promotion
