Baby crying out in sleep

Hello. My newly 5month old baby is doing a new thing or crying really loudly for approx 10 seconds every hour or so at night. She goes straight back to sleep and eyes are tight shut. I have no idea what this means and why. Any ideas? It’s so sad and really disturbing

This is just your baby connecting sleep cycles, very normal. Adults connect sleep cycles too by waking slightly, but usually without crying and we don't remember.

My five month old goes through phases of this. It sets me on edge but she's perfectly fine.
