'Spending time' with an 11 year old

Gone are the days when we went to the park. I feel like I don't spend time with my 11year old. I work full time, so don't see them until tea time, then I'm taking them to and from clubs and dance classes and then they are on their tablet chatting to friends whilst I'm sorting the house, cleaning and cooking. Weekends are precious but they play netball and this weekend had a party and sleepover. Now feeling really guilty and sad that we don't have the closeness of the park days. How do you spend time with your older ones?

We go on a walk, go out for cake, go exploring in the woods, build dens, ride bikes...mine loved a nature walk but honestly, if it ended with hot chocolate and cake he was happy doing anything!!

Dog walks
Listening to podcasts together
Chatting in the car on the way to and from dance
Braiding her hair or filing her hair
Listening to her piano practice
Board or card games
Watching tv or silly TikToks together
I still read to her some nights, and also climb into bed with her for a cuddle
