I've been offered a place on a child nursing course and I'm both excited and scared. Just felt the need to share and I'll probably be on this topic asking lots of questions in the future.
Also thanks to the people who replied on my interview advice thread, you helped keep me calm but i couldn't log on to reply, so thank you

Thanks all, I am just hoping I don't regret it. I must be mad really, I'm a single mum so will be pushing the limit but hopefully I can build a better future for us by a few years hard work.

I've got 6 kids, and I've just finished my second year of English degree. You are not mad. You have given yourself the chance of a lifetime - I wish you every success. It will be incredibly tough - but oh the pride when you have achieved your goal. Congratulations!!
