I need some suggestions for cheap great activities for kids in London

Going to the science museum with my dtwins 4 and dd3, we need some back up ideas too-thanks!!!!!

If it is a fine day, you could walk up to Kensington Palace Gardens from there to the Princess Di memorial whatsit playground - very good and free.

Natural History Museum, V&A .

Going on a bus can be fun (not free but assuming you will be travelling around anyway) and going on the top deck is something DS find exciting.

My two (3 and 4yrs) love the natural museum. Take a picnic though (large picnic area in the basement) because the food there is rubbish and V. expensive.

Free things clearly marked. There are also loads of offers available with an Oyster card but I never have the time or the energy to figure them out. Could be useful if you do want to visit any of the major attractions.
