Baby blood from nose

Not seeking medical advice as I've already been to the GP. Looking for others who have had similar as despite advice, still freaking out 😅...
LG is almost 6 months and has spent the last week with nasty virus, fever etc. Almost back to normal BUT every time she sneezes a fair bit of blood shoots out her nostril. So it's not a nose bleed but there is blood all around the inside of her nose. I don't know, Dr said it's all part of her cold but I'm not sure whether to seek a second opinion...

Sounds like she’s caused a sore inside with the virus, and it’s bleeding when disturbed.
I had the same before Xmas with a virus, but kept having nose bleeds . I had to leave my nose alone for a few weeks, no blowing it hard or sticking anything up it, until it healed fully.
