Recurring coldsores

Does anyone have any tips on preventing coldsores?
I had one that I just got rid of around a week ago and now another one has appeared! I am worried because I have an 8 week old who since I got rid of the last one I have been kissing and cuddling before realising another one had popped up! Now worrying I could have passed it on to him!!
Any advice appreciated!!

Get the cold sore plasters from Compeed, they are great. Wish I’d discovered them years ago.
Make sure you are looking after yourself, plenty of protein and maybe a multivitamin

I second the advice above. I also take a vitamin called lysine which is also meant to help prevent breakouts.

Take lysine every day. Take two when you feel one coming on.
