Probably stupid question but what’s the best way - stood up or lying down? (Age 3.)

Whatever is best for them and you!

Whatevers easiest. If we're at home we do it in the shower!

Personally I find the sticky tabs never go on quite right if they are standing up - it's led to leaky nappies or them falling down entirely sometimes. But I've had to do the change standing up sometimes as it's impossible to pin my toddler down. And sometimes it feels frankly more hygienic than lying them down on a public changing table, sometimes I don't even want to lay my changing mat on top.

I find lying down generally easier, but whatever works for you.

I use nappy pants rather than nappies and change standing up. That's what they do at nursery too. DS is too big to be laid down on a mat.
