Is he sleeping too much?

My 11 month old goes to bed between 6.30-7pm, wakes up between 6:30-7am

Naps at 8.30am-10:30/10:45ish

Naps again at 2pm-3.30/4pm ish on days where I can let him sleep but I have to wake him up at 3pm most days for school run

Feels like a lot of sleep, add in 3 meals a day and school runs I feel he doesn't get much time to actually play and learn and explore etc! Should I be trying to cut a nap?

Sounds great! sleep is so important for learning and developing, don't cut a nap! Meals develop their fine motor, you can talk lots on school run.

I hate waking my baby I'd just go by then! My 11 month still takes a lot of settling at night so isn't usually down much before 9pm (upstairs by 7pm then mostly time spent breastfeeding), up for the day around 8.30am. On a good day naps around 11.30/12 - 1/1.30 and that's it. The second attempt at nap never usually works, feeding, rocking, walking in pram or sling. Unless we're out for the day and she might then sleep in the pram. She doesn't even go to bed any earlier. She fights sleep, so has actually been happier without the fight for a second nap recently but they're all different if they're happy id leave it as it is

It did feel wrong to ask such a question but I do wonder! Thanks.
