Hi there
I’m currently suffering with a bad cold and cough (I don’t think it’s flu?) and I have a 12 week old. I can’t help but be close to her as partner works away from home and is out the house 4am - 6pm
i also can’t ask DP to do night feeds due to his job.
I feel so rotten and baby has just been quite sniffly too - so just as we’ve gotten over that I’ve ended up ill
so so worried I’ll pass it onto baby. What signs should I be looking out for in little one and had anyone’s LO been ok if you’ve suffered with cold when they’re so young?

Hi, don't know if this is helpful but I have a 16 week old and she's got her first cold (and I've got it too). I feel terrible but aside from a blocked nose, DD doesn't seem to care! If you're breastfeeding at all that should give them some antibodies to help too. I think DD is getting over it now so she's doing better than I am.

I'm so sorry that you're feeling this rough. Can DH do a feed and get DD ready for bed whilst you have an hours sleep?

Have you got a nasal aspirator and some Calpol in the house in case she catches it? A Calpol vaporiser might come in handy too Flowers
