Cold sore with baby who is only 3 months

Hi there
I’m currently ill from being run down lack of sleep etc, and have 12 week old baby.
i am so worried about developing a cold sore like I usually do when ill and passing onto baby.
i take antiviral tablets daily to prevent outbreaks but I have still sometimes get the odd one here and then. I do have compeed patches so will just pop loads on overnight in case one pops up but has anyone else suffered with cold sores while having such a young baby? Just so worried about her getting ill

Not kissing, and washing hands after touching it has been enough for my children not to get it. Toddlers are a bit trickier as they tend to touch faces more but it's still been ok.

I believe the baby is protected for 6 months post birth due to getting antibodies in the womb. You should still be careful though.

If you're bf that would give added protection.
