Hi, DD is 2 and is very tall but also very slim. I’m struggling to actually find clothes that fit her! 18-24 months are fine round the waist (depending on the fit) but not long enough and vice versa for 2-3. Does anyone know any good brands/ places that fit better? I find a lot of places 18-24 and 2-3 are way too big for DD!

also does anyone know a solution around adjustable jeans? DD had a pair of jeans on that adjusted at the waist and the straps that adjust have rubbed against her hips and left a rash😩

any advice or experience would be appreciated!

Hello! I also have a very slim girl, finding clothes can sometimes be a problem, but I always find something)
Adjustable belts on pants and jeans. Although you've had a bad experience, not all adjustable waistbands are created equal. such as Gap Kids, Old Navy and H&M. These brands have soft, stretchy waistbands and are comfortable. if you order children's clothes online, read the reviews, it helps me.
Zara Kids, Next., these brands usually have clothes for slimmer children. My child has a lot of Next items.

Next tend to be slimmer fit. Leggings are generally better than joggers. I don’t think jeans are great for young kids as they’re not as easy to run and climb in.

Leggings! She's doesn't need to be in jeans at 2. I had tall skinnies and found Sainsbury's good. They wore tights / leggings and a tunic a lot of the time, no one wants to be uncomfortable.

I find H&M quite good for my tall thin girl. So far I have only brought her soft trousers, mostly leggings as they seem to fit better than joggers. Some leggings I have from Petit Bateau are very slim fitting (need a larger size no matter so 2-3 is equivalent to 18-24) and so are Polarn O Pyret (sized quite tall generally). Both of these are super expensive unless on sale or second hand so I mostly buy H&M for basics.

Next do a long version for some of their leggings

Next tend to be slimmer fit. I dress my girls (whom are slim but longer) in leggingsor dresses to compact this

Polarn o Pyret might suit.
