What is this virus and should I seek help?

My 18 month old has been unwell for 4 days now. It started with vomiting and since then she has vomited once or twice a day. She also has a pronounced cough and has had a temperature of around 38 intermittently (seemed hot once or twice a day but went down with Calpol). Anyone know what this could be? Thought stomach bugs were over quickly so I guess this is something else. Maybe the coughing and accumulation of mucus causing the vomiting? Would you seek medical help or wait it out. She has been quite lethargic and mostly wanting to sleep on me and not eating much. Not dehydrated as still drinking.

Was thinking of at least sending a description the symptoms to the GP tomorrow and seeing if they think an appointment is necessary but do you think it’s fine to wait until tomorrow morning? As a FTM I always find it hard to judge what’s normal baby/toddler illness and what could need treatment.

I would phone 111, they've always been brilliant when I've been unsure what to do.

Hope little one is feeling much better soon

I would call the GP, ours are pretty good and always see my 18 month old the same day, just for a check. 4 days seems a long time so I would be calling just for peace of mind.

Doesn't sound too alarming to be honest, gp in the morning sounds sensible though.
