How much did your babies weigh?

CherryGarcia23 · 21/01/2024 11:30

Just wondering if there is a correlation to each baby weighing the same?

1st son 2 weeks late - weighed 7lb 4oz
2nd son 2 weeks early - weighed 7lb 6oz
3rd a daughter 2 weeks early - weighed 7lb 2oz

All of mine weighed nearly the same even though 1 was 2 weeks late and the subsequent were 2 weeks early.

Ds - 5lb, 9oz (10 days early)
dd1 - 5lb, 15oz (14 days early)
dd2 - 6lb, 12oz (11 days early)
dd3 - 6lb 7oz (12 days early)

I was induced with all four because of blood pressure issues.

DS1- 41+ 3, 8lbs 12ozs
DS2- 41+2, 9lbs 6ozs
DS3- 40 + 3, 9lbs 1oz

DS2 and 3 are definitely more chunky builds than DS1!

RosesAndHellebores · 21/01/2024 21:48

DS1: 36,3 7lb 5oz
DS2: 27,1 2lb 10oz
DD: 41 8lb 13oz

RedSeaQuestion · 21/01/2024 22:47

DD1 - 10lbs
DD2 - 10lbs 4 oz
DS - 6lbs 14

all born at 39 weeks. No reason at all why DS was smaller. In fact they scanned me three days before he was born and estimated him at 9 and a half pounds!

Agingeyelids · 21/01/2024 22:48

My son was born at 40+3 and was 10lb 2.

No plans for another!

Goingsunny · 21/01/2024 22:59

DS 6lb 10 at 38 + 2
DD 8lb 12 at 41 + 3

WeveGotThis · 21/01/2024 23:02

6lb 13oz, one week early, monitored a lot and scans every fortnight, they thought he'd be very small or have short legs but he's fine.

PartyPartyYeah · 21/01/2024 23:03

DD; 42 weeks 8lb 7ozs
DD: 39 weeks 8lb 9ozs

Mammyloveswine · 21/01/2024 23:11

Eldest-born 2 days after due date: 8 pounds 4.5 oz.. he was huge! Lost quite bit of weight after (9%) but once got the hang of breastfeeding literally put on a pound a week..had rolls on rolls

Youngest born on his due date was 7 pounds 12 and seemed tiny! Barely lost about ounce and like his brother often gained a pound a week.

Eldest is now a beanpole, youngest is currently sporting a little Buddha and weighs the same as eldest 😱.

feathers7 · 21/01/2024 23:12

No 1 42 weeks 11 lbs 4
No 2 40 weeks 9 lbs 8
No 3 39 weeks 8 lbs 1
No diabetes, just big babies!

Scirocco · 21/01/2024 23:13

DC and I were almost the exact same weight at birth - 1 oz difference in our recorded weights. They're much cuter though.

Whatsinthebag2 · 21/01/2024 23:26

Dd1 11 lb 2 Oz
Ds 10 lb 10 oz

No more now!

Literallyshakingrn · 21/01/2024 23:29

DD 1 8.9 lbs + 10 days
DD 2 9.10 lbs at term
DS 10.12 lbs + 2 weeks induced.

I am 5'5" and HWP with a 6'2" DH. I just seem to cook big babies.

** Edited to say, mine look average on this thread!
