Hi everyone! I am at the end of my tether. My 9week old baby and I have had a great breast feeding journey so far. She’s been feeding every 2-3hours during the day and every 3-4hours during the night. I then caught my first borns stomach bug just before my baby’s jabs and stopped eating as I was feeling so sick. This has had an impact on milk supply. On Wednesday my baby had her jabs and since then has been constipated and has dropped her night feeds completely and is even feeding less during the day. She’s backed up on top of that! She’s otherwise happy and active and has been producing wet nappies albeit not as wet as usual. This is obv not helping with increasing my milk supply. It’s day 4 now of her jabs and I am so sad I just want to jump back on our breastfeeding journey. Any words of advice / encouragement please. Thank you in advance x

Drink water and eat protein, fruit and veg. Drink a glass of water every time you feed.

Baby's routines change all the time! The changes may have happened without you being ill, having jabs, being constipated etc. Your supply will adjust. I suggest lots of skin to skin contact. If the constipation doesn't sort itself speak to your HV.
