Having a third?

We currently have DD who's 6 and DS who's 5, I was quite young when I had them so only I'm mid 20's now. I'm just sure whether to have another because I don't feel done having children but feel because I have one of each and they're are so close in age that they wouldn't be as close with a young sibling

Just looking for an insight into having a 5-6 year age gap between kids and having 3 kids. Also how did you know you were finished having them?

Any advise is so appreciated

I have a 2.5 year gap between my eldest then had 3rd when youngest was 5.5.

It works brilliantly and has been an absolute joy. The relationship is different but has brought out the best in all of my kids. The eldest 2 just dote on the youngest and love playing with a baby/toddler. They're loads of help too. The whole thing is more enjoyable this time round.

It's obviously hard work going back to the baby stage, but in many ways less hard than when also having a toddler to deal with!
