Ideas for a birthday party

DS1 would really like a birthday party and I'm stuck for ideas. He will be 6 which feels too old for softplay but too young for a trampoline park.

I was considering a hall with a bouncy castle but he only wants to invite up to 10 children from school.

Any ideas gratefully recieved

He’s not too young for a trampoline park.

Eleven six year olds could love
karaoke and dance party
pool party
trampoline party dressed as super heros
circus party
a mini farm party or at a wild life park
go carts
bake your own pizza and cup cake party
a board games party
a party in back yard with three party games, a big mat with lego and an ice cream cake.

Film, popcorn, build their own pizzas at your house - safe your money

Trampoline park, football party, soft play, laser quest, pizza express party (if they still do these), hall with an entertainer (disco).

My 6 year old had a soft play party. They had a blast. I don't think it's too old at all.

He's 7 this year and having a bowling party.

Other 6 year old parties he went to included
Hall with magic show
Hall with science slime show
Cinema trip
Pizza express party

Six is definitely not too young for trampoline park (my DD did it for her 6th), nor too old for soft play. It’s a great age in that respect!

Clip'n'climb if you've got one near you

My DS is going to a 6th birthday party this weekend at a soft play - so definitely not too old for that. He went to a trampoline party last year, as well as a bowling party too.
Other options:
Party in a hall or home - science; crime scene; slime; pizza making; chocolate making; sports; bouncy castle, themed (DD had a Harry Potter themed party last year for her 9th).
Pretty much anything really.

My son has his 6th birthday this weekend, and we are having it at a local gymnastics centre that does parties.

The kids have an amazing time jumping on trampolines, swinging off bars and landing in pits of foam cushions, walking along balance beams for an hour. And then there is a party room for food.

It's all supervised by staff (and parents) so really safe and it's just a little bit more 'grown up' feeling than softplay.

Might be worth checking if you have something similar locally?
