I have a 7 year old boy who is really into gaming. He is so skilled, I honestly sit in awe watching how good he is. He loves the gaming world. Loves collecting plushies, drawing characters, role paying gaming. He really is very passionate about it.
He loves to play on his switch or iPad.
He doesn't play anything inappropriate and we have a great line of communication about it.
I think all of the above is fine and it's great to see him interested. But I'm concerned that he's only really interested in gaming. He hates sports, won't join any clubs. Hates going for walks, hates the park. Has a swimming lesson and hates it. He doesn't enjoy soft play or anything like that.
How can I encourage him to try some different things and actually enjoy it? I have a younger chil who is going to miss out on things if my eldest won't join in. I just want them both to be happy ❤️
