ok, so in my sleep-deprived state...whilst massaging the tummy of our very refluxy baby in an effort to help move the wind/poo along, I've taken to singing. Not just any songs - oh no, we're making up our very own lyrics to old familiar "normal" children's tunes... Our current favorite?

I sing "Hammer Time" by MC Hammer. Works a treat if you substitute "Hammer" for "Nappy".

Also, when my ds was going through a clingy stage and wouldn't let me put him down, I used to sing:

(to the tune of the conga) to try and encourage the kids to go - worked ok on ds1, ds2 not so impressed! And in a similar vein, after being up all night a few months ago with ds2 and his vomiting, I came up with this, to the tune of "The wonderful thing about Tiggers:
