My little one is 8 days old, the first 2 1/2 days he was exclusively breast fed, but unfortunately it didn’t work out so swapped to cow & gate ready made formula, until yesterday he was just on ready made but we finally bought some cow & gate powdered formula and started him on that. He’s drinking it fine, no issues, just he can’t poo! He was pooing after every feed pretty much & now hasn’t pooed in over 24 hours and is straining and crying when trying to go. My heart is breaking seeing him distressed. Did we do something wrong? Should we go back to ready made and slowly introduce the powder or is it too late?? He’s had around 5 bottles of powdered formula so far…
