My daughter is 3 month old and has been struggling with wind (burps and farts) and also diarrhoea from 2 days old. We have been to the GP several times but they are no use. We are burping her every 2 ounce on her bottle which she also screams while she is getting burped. Tried gripe water, colic drops, tummy massages etc.. She is currently on milk allergy formula which is not helping either. She is starting to fidget and cry during feeds now which is not normal for her. She cries and screams out throughout the day with tummy pain.
Can anyone offer any suggestions on what to try or what this could be?

What milks have you tried?

You might need a completely diary free formula such as neocate or alfamino. They are quite thin so you might need a thickener to limit reflux it caused.

My daughter has allergies and reflux and needed high dose reflux treatment as well as going allergy free.

She’s currently on aptamil pepti 1 cows milk allergy and I have noticed that I have had to size down with her teats again and she was previously on gavison as they did think it was reflux but this was with her original formula cow and gate and made no difference. I will suggest this to doctors though thankyou.

That is one of the hydrolysed formulas so has broken down dairy proteins in. You might have to try another one before getting an amino acid formula but I would probably ask for one next and see if you get it!
