11mo asleep 'folded' - is it safe?

Hi everyone - my 11mo has fallen asleep 'folded' in half if that makes sense - is this safe? Every time I try and lay him flat he wakes up and gets upset, is it ok to leave him half sitting up?

As long as the place he is asleep is a safe place to sleep such as cot or empty bed. My youngest frequently sleeps bottom up.

I think if they get themselves into a position they can normally get themselves out of it again, so I'm sure he'll move is he's uncomfy. 11 months is not a tiny little baby : )

I would probably try to roll him onto his side, but if it's bothering him I'd just leave him to it.

Mine sleeps in 'child's pose' every night. This was actually a turning point for sleeping through the night!
