Hi everyone im just after a bit of advice really.
Bit of background -
So last year, my 2 younger sisters age 12 and 13 went out after school. My mum had rang them to come home. The 12 year old didnt like it so she ran away. In the end we found her and her punishment was a 2 week ban off computers and phones. Fast forward to a week ago. The 12 year old ended up doing oral intercourse with her’boyfriend’ her only punishment was her phone.
Ive expressed to my mum that she is been to soft and not safeguarding and putting measures in place to stop this from occuring again.
She doesnt like telling them off, im not sure why but she doesnt.
My questions is my eldest son goes around on a weekend and apparently I’m in the wrong and been selfish for wanting to safeguard my son by not wanting him to go round.
We also have very different styles of parenting too so she doesnt understand whats so wrong with me not wanting my son to go round.
Is there any advice? Am i being in the wrong?
