Colic ?

Baby girl is 10 weeks old today. She is breastfed. Since birth since been a very gassy baby, when she coughs she farts, sneezes she farts, has hiccups a lot. For the past few weeks like clockwork every day from 7pm she goes crazy. Cries this high pitch cry, goes bright red in the face, nothing can help her! I've rocked her, fed her, changed her but nothing very works. Has anybody got any advice? It's absolutely draining. I have two older children and I can't get anything done or desk to them.

My DS did this. Gradually got better around 12weeks but it was like clockwork, 6pm...
We tried infacol. Helped a bit.
"Tiger in a tree" hold
Lots of time on boob and just held/cuddles/in the sling.
There's some gentle massages you can do for tummy & helping wind (google as can't remember exactly).

Very hard when you're in it but it will hopefully improve soon

A dummy also helped... if she'll take one.

I had the same issue
if you’re breastfeeding (like I was) it’s worth looking at your diet too. I was having a lot of protein through nuts /energy balls to try and help recovery. Stopped having them and saw a massive improvement.

I found the medication doctors gave was so good tbh

My little one was really gassy, dairy intolerance, and he liked it when I held him upright on chest bouncing up and down patting his bum. I think it helped displace some of the wind

Check he's not got tongue tie, if so he could be taking in excess air when he's feeding which is causing him discomfort and display the symptoms you describe

sounds similar to a friend, she went to the docs and they gave her baby gaviscon and eventually omeprizole (not sure on spelling).

clockwork timing could imply colic, though..

have you tried lying baby on her back, and circling legs around and back and fourth? always used to elevate DS wind, like a whoopee cushion! there are lots of videos online for various techniques although you have 2 kids already so you might know them! Best of luck and hang on in there
