Anxiety nursery

Hi everyone, DS had a stay and play session today at nursery and I brang his 2 month old baby sister with us. However at the nursery his baby sister had a poo explosion and I didn’t have spares as we were only there for an hour and we were in a rush before hand and totally forgot to pack them! So I had to take her vest off and throw it in the bin and just put her outfit back on but I noticed after her trousers had poo on them too. We had to stay another 5 minutes to clarify with the teacher when DS was starting. The teacher helped us get our 2 months old coat on so I am beyond mortified and the nursery didn’t say anything at the time but now I’m thinking omg what if they saw the poo mark and they think I’ve neglected her because she had poo on her trousers! Am I overreacting or do you think there will be repercussions from this??? I changed her as soon as we got home btw. I do suffer with severe anxiety which I am under the GP for (no judgment please).

I seeiously doubt the nursery would have neglect concerns over one poo mark they may or may not have seen. Try to put it out of your mind.

@Blughbablugh thank you for the reassurance! I know I sound mad, reading back through my post I do think I’m overreacting just feel so anxious about it! I think it’s still my hormones all over the place.

It's easy to get caught up in that way of thinking, especially if this is the first interaction you've had with nursery and you suffer from anxiety. Honestly though it will be fine. The nursery will have seen all sorts and they will not bat an eyelid at one poo stain.
