Do you still read aloud to your ten-year-old?

Not sure if this is right spot. I read to my ten-year-old but from talking to other school mums I find that they don't. My 10yo does read independently as well but still loves me reading stories.

Am I babying him ?

God yes. Oldest is 12, youngest 6, middle one 9, and we can just about find things they all like Joan Aiken, Olga da Polga, Watership Down, Professor Braynestawm rather than having to read three different stories.

The story happens every night, but the number of listeners varies a bit!
