My little boy is 28 months and has recently (over the last month or so) decided he doesn’t like any other toddlers playing near him. So if he’s at playgroup and another child plays next to him he says no, snatches the toy off them and sometimes even pushes them. We had several similar incidents today. I was with him so intervened and gave the toy back or removed him if he was still being unkind to them.
Is this a common phase? He used to be fine and was only ever like this if someone took a toy off him first. It was like he saw them as ruining his play before they’d even arrived. He goes to nursery 2 days a week and they’ve never mentioned any issues before.
