Newborn always hungry

My 3 week old seems constantly hungry, he is 90th centile for weight and length so quite big and was 9Ib 4 at his 12 day review. I am formula feeding and has been having 4oz every 2-3 hours but recently has still been hungry after a feed so we have gone up to 5oz. The issue is he’s now (for the last 2/3 days) only going about 1-1.5hours between feeds in the afternoon and is having between 30-35oz in a day which is way above the recommended amount.

I make sure everything else is okay before I feed him (change nappy, wind, try a nap, cuddles, dummy etc) but he still puts his hands in his mouth, opens and closes mouth, turns toward me, screams until he gets a bottle. He also doesn’t spit up or show signs of overfeeding.
if he is otherwise happy is this a concern? Could he be having a growth spurt maybe?
