Can you develop car sickness at 5?

As DD5 seems to have done. She hasn't actually been sick, but complains of her tummy feeling sick after about 20 mins on twisty country roads. Is this possible? If do - and recommendations of solutions?

I personally have suffered with it terribly from before I can even remember.

My daughter is 5 and just started experiencing it, I feel so bad for her. We have been managing by keeping her cool, and sitting in the front on long journeys, which seem to be the problem right now.
