Hey first time post so go easy.

My little baby girl Astrid has reached 9 months, and is eating (BLW) well and drinking well, however has always had troubled passing stools.

Now I've googled baby poo around this age and I just can't find anything that looks like her poos. Can anyone give me some advice if these are something to be alarmed about?

We've been do the docs, who have recommended lactulose, suppositories and more fluid.

To which we have done all three.

It's just when she does pass these stools she doesn't cry, but grunts /strains as you can imagine when you see the size of them!

(Also, the pound coin is there for reference, not part of the diet !)

Any advice is very welcome? X

It does look very solid and she's obviously having trouble passing it as you said. It's horrible isn't it, my 4 year old has chronic constipation and the only thing that worked was movicol. Could it be something she is eating or her formula?

Looks far too solid for that age imo
