Bottle fed baby not feeding well

My 4 month old has always been a good feeder on bottles (could not BF) but in the last few weeks I’d taking ages to feed and usually won’t finish bottle even though she is clearly hungry.

Every feed is a battle! I feed responsively so she’ll give me plenty of hunger cues and gulp down about half a bottle. She will then start looking round the room, smiling, getting distracted and pretty much doing anything but drinking the bottle. If I take the bottle away and do something else with her she gets upset cos she’s still hungry. She’s also now waking frequently at night due to hunger cos she’s not getting enough milk in the day. And cos she’s drinking so little she constantly wants more milk.

Anyone else have a baby that won’t stop pissing around on their bottle despite being hungry? It’s got to the point where I can’t get anything done - including feeding myself - cos I spend hours feeding her!

She is on MAM 2 teats. I’ve tried moving up to 3 but she spits it out.

My little girl was just like this and it was a worry and exhausting. My health visitor suggested changing bottle brand as the size 2 teat might be too small but the 3 seemed to be too fast flowing for her.
We moved from mam to Dr Brown and she started feeding better for a short while. We then moved to a different brand of formula to see if that helped which it did too. I was very happy for 6 months when she could finally start eating as she was just bored of milk at that point.
My hv and gp said as long as she’s healthy and goading weight then not to worry about it. I would start a bottle and then try a dream feed if she hadn’t taken much.
