Where to put baby when too big for bouncer?

6 month old, too big for bouncer - where can I pop them while I get things done? Have a high chair in one room but no space for it in the kitchen...

Jumperoo or a circle of cushions with some toys on the floor.

What bouncer do you have? My baby is nearly 1 and quite a big baby but still fits comfortably in ours. Could you check our marketplace for cheap ones to try?

6 months is probably a bit young still but the best thing I've bought (again second hand) is a playpen, if you have room for it, it was an absolute bargain and so nice to have somewhere for all their toys, lovely soft floor, can crawl around and plays happily in there while I faff around.

A big cardboard box or one of those plastic laundry tubs would be good, if baby can sit up independently. You don’t necessarily need anything pretty.
We got a second hand bumbo which was ok at this age but quickly outgrown, I wouldn’t splash out too much. In a couple of months they will be crawling and may well kick off whenever they’re not left free to roam.

I bought a Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker, it's for from birth until around four years old.

Can you get a regular chair in your kitchen? If so take a look at the Chicco Pocket Snack chair. Life saver for us!

Thanks all. It's for a stone floor but will look into these ideas!,

I did things during naptime or wore them in a wrap or Ergobaby, but generally we were in the same room so they played on the floor.

We found the Nuby cloud inflatable seat brilliant. Picked one up from Aldi really cheap. Though if baby has only just started sitting up they will only manage short bursts, but within weeks they will be in there a lot of the time.

If you have a table in the kitchen what about one of those clip on high hairs that are quite small. Set some toys up at the table

Fisher price sit me up was great for my daughter. I bought new but she only needed it for a couple of months so wish I'd have looked on market place
