Bottle Feeding Advice

Hi,

First time mum to be very soon! & I've started to become worried / stressed over bottle feeding! I will be using Kendamil formula
There seems so much to remember and best way to feed them etc...

I've decided I'm going to use the MAM bottles but how many bottles would you recommend getting?

I know I'll have to wash and sterilise at least once a day, but don't want to not have enough and have to be washing / sterilising a fresh bottle every few hours.

Also, when I do I know baby needs moving up from a 0 size teat, to a size 1 teat?

We used an electric steam steriliser that had space for x amount of bottles (can't remember how many now...5? 6?) and had at least that number of bottles. Think we may have had one or two more tbh.

They don't really ever technically need to move up teats per se, but the manufacturers usually have guidance on what they recommend. You can use that as a rough guide, it will be a bit trial and error. Your midwife or health visitor can help advise you too. For example our health visitor recommended us moving up a teat size at one point when my DC1's weight gain was slowing.
